THE HOUSE

The Gasthof zur Rebe is over 300 years old and originally consisted of two residential houses and a wine workshop on the lakeside. In the mid-1900s one residential house and the workshop, which had hosted a bakery since 1919, were converted into an inn and their beautiful wooden framework exposed. It is visible today in this style as a uniform frame house. The unframed, mountain-facing side of the building was the innkeeper’s home until 2000. Today, the entire building accommodates the Gasthof zur Rebe.

Despite numerous refurbishments the building has kept the charm of a real country inn. The stairwell is narrow, the ceiling low in some parts and everywhere guests encounter the traces of the turbulent history of the house.


GUEST ROOMS

Thirteen guest rooms are spread over three floors. Whether it is a modest single bedroom with a shared bathroom, a comfortable double room with bath or shower, or the spacious family suite… the choice is yours.


WINE WORKSHOP

Where once the wine was pressed, today you will find a small homey hall with a view of the garden. Our hotel guests are welcome to have breakfast, dine or celebrate here.

Book with us in advance to host external guests for an afterwork drink, a meeting or fine dining.


 LOUNGE

The former dining room has been converted into a comfortable lounge for our hotel guests. With prior notice the lounge is also open to external guests for coffee & cake or drinks & apéro.


KITCHEN

Our professional kitchen, in combination with the lounge and wine workshop, offers the perfect stage for creative cooks to treat our internal and external guests to fine dining experiences.
